[WEBINAR] Consent requirements for mobile games
January 23, 2024
Google’s new consent requirements went into effect on the 16th of January. Mobile apps using AdMob, AdSense and Ad Manager are now required to use a Google-approved consent management platform (CMP) when serving ads to users in the EEA and UK.
Watch Sourcepoint’s Vincent Tessier, head of gaming, and Achraff-Nour Meski, senior technical account manager, provide an overview of everything you need to know about implementing a CMP. You’ll learn the basics of the TCF v2.2 framework that Google-approved CMPs rely on, as well as best practices such as:
• Consent message customisation (localisation, geotargeting)
• The benefits of using webview
• Testing the revenue impact of a Reject All call-to-action
